Prosecutors say the men approached a parked car shortly before 1:25 AM on November 22 on Bryant Street in Northridge. They reportedly demanded money and then opened fire, fatally wounding DELAROSA. She was inside the vehicle with two friends, and both individuals were unharmed during the incident.
Hochman confirmed that Gaytan and LiconGomez have been taken into custody, and an arrest warrant remains active for Lopez. Dispatch audio from the scene previously indicated that DELAROSA had been shot in the abdomen.
Hochman described the shooting as an attack that caused severe trauma to the victim’s family and the two surviving witnesses. Court records show that Gaytan’s bail has been set at $2.18 million and LiconGomez’s bail is set at $2.28 million. Hochman added that Lopez’s bail will be $2.205 million upon arrest. Prosecutors say the men could face life in state prison without the possibility of parole if convicted.
