Golden Globe Awards 2026 Winners: Full List and Key Highlights From Hollywood’s Big Night
Awards season officially got underway as Hollywood’s brightest stars assembled for the 2026 Golden Globe Awards, marking one of the most anticipated nights on the entertainment calendar.
In the film categories, Paul Thomas Anderson’s highly praised action thriller emerged as the most nominated movie of the night, earning nine nods, including Best Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy. Close behind were Joachim Trier’s Sentimental Value with eight nominations, Ryan Coogler’s Sinners with seven, and Chloé Zhao’s Hamnet with six. These three titles will face off in the Best Motion Picture — Drama race alongside Frankenstein, It Was Just an Accident, and The Secret Agent.

Television saw strong competition as well. The White Lotus topped all TV nominees with six nominations, including Best Television Series — Drama. In the comedy field, Only Murders in the Building led its category with four nominations, while Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short each earned individual acting nods. Following its major success at the Emmy Awards earlier this year, Adolescence continued its momentum by collecting five nominations in the Limited Series categories.
The Golden Globes also introduced a new honor this year with the inaugural Podcast of the Year award. The first-ever nominees include Armchair Expert With Dax Shepard, Call Her Daddy, Good Hang With Amy Poehler, The Mel Robbins Podcast, SmartLess, and Up First From NPR.
Returning to guide the ceremony for the second year in a row was comedian Nikki Glaser, who once again served as host for the star-studded event.
