‎Body Found in Tesla Registered to D4vd in Hollywood Tow Yard, LAPD Confirms

‎Los Angeles police are investigating after discovering a body inside an impounded Tesla in Hollywood on Monday, September 8. According to ABC7, the vehicle is registered to rising music artist D4vd.
‎A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department said officers were called to a tow yard around 12:20 p.m. following reports of a strong odor coming from the car. Upon inspection, authorities located what they described as “possible human remains.” Officials have classified the case as a death investigation.

‎KTLA reported that the body was found inside a bag in the trunk of the vehicle, which had been abandoned for about a week before being impounded. ABC7 added that the 2023 Tesla is registered in Texas to David Anthony Burke, the legal name of the 20-year-old singer.
‎D4vd is currently on his Withered World Tour, with his next scheduled performance in Minneapolis on Tuesday, September 9. The tour will continue with stops in Kansas City, Denver, Salt Lake City, Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles before heading overseas.
‎The international leg of the tour begins in October, with scheduled concerts in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Austria, and Poland. In December, the Houston-born artist is slated to perform in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne.
‎On the music front, D4vd released his debut studio album, Withered, in April through Darkroom/Interscope Records. The project includes a feature from Kali Uchis. Earlier this month, he also released “Locked & Loaded (Official Fortnite Anthem),” his latest single tied to the globally popular video game.
