‎Ariana Grande and Sabrina Carpenter followed closely behind, tying for the second-most wins of the evening with three awards each. Both artists secured a strong presence during the show, reinforcing their impact on the year’s music scene.
‎Lady Gaga collected the Artist of the Year trophy early in the telecast, a moment that was strategically moved forward to accommodate her schedule. She was set to perform a headline show at Madison Square Garden the same evening, which began an hour later than planned to allow her to attend the VMAs beforehand.
‎Ariana Grande’s three wins included the coveted Video of the Year award for “Brighter Days Ahead.” She also delivered a key highlight of the broadcast by presenting the prestigious Video Vanguard Award to Mariah Carey, adding to the evening’s star-studded moments.
