‎Terrifier House debuts at Halloween Horror Nights 2025, featuring Art the Clown's nightmarish funhouse

‎Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort are set to introduce a chilling new attraction for Halloween Horror Nights 2025 inspired by the cult-favorite slasher franchise, Terrifier. Fans of the gruesome series will encounter Art the Clown’s terrifying funhouse, crafted to immerse visitors in the brutal and bloody world brought to life by writer-director Damien Leone.

‎The recently announced maze joins a diverse lineup that includes experiences based on Fallout, Friday the 13th, and Five Nights at Freddy’s. Produced by Phil Falcone in collaboration with Dark Age Cinema Productions, the Terrifier house promises an intense, grisly haunted attraction that captures the franchise’s signature horror.
‎Drawing directly from the 2022 sequel’s setting, the house places attendees inside Art the Clown’s nightmare funhouse at an abandoned carnival. Guests will navigate through twisted corridors filled with horrifying sights, unsettling sounds, and visceral elements that bring to life the slasher’s grotesque kills. The event description emphasizes the sensory assault visitors can expect as they become the latest potential victims of the infamous killer.
‎Iconic scenes from the franchise will unfold throughout the claustrophobic maze, including encounters with familiar characters such as Vicky and the eerie Little Pale Girl. Visitors will traverse recreated locations like the sinister Clown Café, a revolting bathroom, and a deadly Christmas-themed horror landscape, each stage meticulously designed to reflect the unsettling tone of the films.
‎The Terrifier series has carved out a unique place in modern horror, renowned for its graphic violence and unflinching gore. This low-budget, unrated trilogy has amassed roughly $100 million worldwide from a combined production budget under $2.5 million. Art the Clown’s terrifying presence first emerged in Damien Leone’s shorts beginning in 2008 before the franchise’s 2016 feature debut. Since then, it has expanded beyond film to include an arcade game, novelizations, comic books, and a forthcoming fourth installment.
‎Set in the fictional Miles County, New York, the Terrifier saga chronicles the sadistic rampage of Art the Clown, a demonic serial killer whose annual Halloween terrorizing of residents grows ever more sadistic and sinister. The Halloween Horror Nights 2025 event offers fans a rare opportunity to step inside this dark universe firsthand.
‎Halloween Horror Nights will open its gates at Universal Orlando Resort on August 29, followed by Universal Studios Hollywood on September 4. Both events run through November 2, with tickets already available for eager horror enthusiasts.
