Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Glover return in 'Predator: Killer of Killers' epilogue revealed at Comic-Con

‎A surprise unveiling at San Diego Comic-Con has set the Predator fandom abuzz. Director Dan Trachtenberg announced during Friday’s panel that a new version of Predator: Killer of Killers would premiere that evening, complete with an unexpected epilogue that ties together decades of lore. The fresh cut of the Hulu animated feature includes appearances from Arnold Schwarzenegger’s iconic Dutch from the 1987 Predator, Danny Glover’s Lt. Mike Harrigan from Predator 2, and Amber Midthunder’s Naru from Prey.

‎Fans at Hall H witnessed the epilogue firsthand during 20th Century Studios and Disney’s Predator: Badlands panel. The scene offers a haunting visual: Predator warriors solemnly carry floating human coffins, each holding a familiar face in suspended animation. Among them lie the still forms of Midthunder’s Naru and Glover’s Harrigan, subtly reintroducing their characters into the ever-expanding mythos of the franchise.
‎Trachtenberg revealed that he personally met with Schwarzenegger over breakfast to secure the actor’s permission to use his likeness. That conversation ultimately allowed Dutch’s presence to be canonized in the narrative, further strengthening the interconnected timeline of the Predator universe. Moderator Kevin Smith lightened the moment with a nod to Schwarzenegger’s classic line, joking, “Get to the waffles!”
‎Released on Hulu on June 6, Killer of Killers presents a sweeping anthology of violence and valor, charting the stories of humanity’s most fearsome warriors. One chapter follows a Viking mother and her son on a brutal quest for vengeance. Another segment depicts a deadly power struggle between ninja and samurai in feudal Japan. A third tale focuses on a WWII pilot unraveling a supernatural aerial threat. Each protagonist brings unmatched skill to the battlefield—but all must face the galaxy’s most lethal hunter.
‎Josh Wassung of The Third Floor, a prominent animation studio, co-directed the project alongside Trachtenberg, blending cinematic ambition with genre-defining action. Their collaboration culminates in a narrative that stretches across centuries, but unites around a singular, deadly force: the Predator.
‎Looking ahead, Predator: Badlands is set to debut in theaters on November 7. Elle Fanning takes the lead in a storyline centered on her character, Thia, who forges an uneasy alliance with a young Predator. The upcoming film promises a new perspective on the franchise's brutal world, exploring trust, survival, and unexpected kinship.
