Everything Kid Cudi said about Diddy, Cassie, and the Porsche bombing in court testimony

On Thursday, Grammy-winning rapper and actor Kid Cudi delivered pivotal testimony in the federal sex trafficking and racketeering case against Sean “Diddy” Combs — detailing everything he said about a firebombed Porsche, an alleged home invasion, and a dangerous love triangle involving R&B artist Cassie Ventura.

‎In a packed Manhattan courtroom, Cudi — born Scott Mescudi — told jurors he believes Diddy was behind the arson attack that destroyed his Porsche 911 in 2012. He also said the Bad Boy Records founder unlawfully entered his Los Angeles home in 2011 after discovering both men were romantically linked to Ventura.
‎Here’s everything Kid Cudi said under oath:
‎• He met Ventura in 2008 through the music industry, and the two became close friends before starting a romantic relationship in 2011. Ventura led him to believe her relationship with Combs had ended.
‎• In December 2011, while he was away, he received a phone call from Combs’ assistant Capricorn Clark, saying Diddy had entered Cudi’s home. When Cudi returned, he found opened Christmas presents and his dog locked in a bathroom.
‎• He immediately contacted the police to report the break-in.
‎• Weeks later, in January 2012, he received a call that his Porsche had been set on fire in his driveway. He said a Molotov cocktail was discovered in the car, and the roof had been slashed.
‎• He testified that the day after the incident, he met with Combs and asked, “What are we going to do about my car?” Diddy responded coldly, saying, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
‎• Cudi told the court, “I knew he had something to do with it,” though jurors were told to disregard the statement after an objection from the defense.
‎• Years later, when they crossed paths at a hotel, Combs allegedly apologized “for everything,” but never admitted to the car bombing.
‎• Under cross-examination, Cudi acknowledged that Cassie was involved with both men at the same time. He admitted it was disappointing to learn she returned to Combs, describing her as “living two different lives.”
‎• Cudi also said he was unaware that female DNA had reportedly been found in the burned car by investigators.
‎Everything Cudi said on the stand added fuel to the prosecution’s narrative — that Combs used fear, manipulation, and violence to control both personal and professional relationships.
‎The trial continues as federal prosecutors build their case against one of hip-hop’s most powerful figures, using testimony like Cudi’s to illustrate a broader pattern of abuse and intimidation.
