While none of the following figures have been accused of any wrongdoing, their ties to Combs or his accuser, Cassie Ventura, have made them part of a headline-dominating courtroom drama.
Here’s a breakdown of each celebrity named — and why.
Kanye West
Mentioned early during jury selection, Kanye West remains publicly supportive of Combs. Following Combs’ September 2024 arrest, West featured him on a track titled “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine” alongside his daughter North West. A subsequent phone call between the artists was shared online, in which Combs thanked West for supporting his children and warned him about people trying to "end" him.
Michael B. Jordan
The actor surfaced in court discussions due to his brief romantic involvement with Cassie Ventura in 2016 during a break in her relationship with Combs. Jordan has not commented publicly, nor is he accused of any criminal activity.
Kid Cudi (Scott Mescudi)
Cassie testified that she dated Kid Cudi in 2011 while separated from Combs. During a so-called “Freak-Off,” Combs allegedly found messages from Cudi on her phone. Cassie claimed that Combs responded with rage, threatening her with a wine bottle opener.
Mike Myers
The “Austin Powers” and “SNL” star was mentioned during jury selection, though no context or connection to the case has been revealed. Myers has not been accused of misconduct and has not publicly responded.
Michelle Williams
The Destiny’s Child member’s name came up during jury screening but with no further elaboration. She is not implicated in any way.
Drake & French Montana
According to Cassie, Combs abused her before she attended Drake’s 2013 OVO Festival. She appeared at the event with French Montana, attempting to hide visible injuries with strategic hairstyling.
Prince
Cassie recalled sneaking away to attend a private concert at Prince’s Los Angeles home — an act she said enraged Combs. Upon her return, she alleged that Combs found her hotel and physically assaulted her.
Kim Porter
Cassie revealed that her romantic involvement with Combs began while he was still dating the late Kim Porter, who died of pneumonia in 2018. According to Ventura, Combs wanted to keep the relationship hidden due to family concerns.
Cassie Ventura
The central witness, Ventura offered harrowing testimony about her relationship with Combs from 2007 to 2018. She described being coerced into prolonged, drug-laden sex parties, referred to as “Freak-Offs,” and enduring years of alleged physical and emotional abuse. One particularly brutal incident at the InterContinental Hotel in 2016 was shown in court via never-before-seen footage.
The Larger Picture
Though these celebrities are not on trial, their mentions help frame the scope and timeline of Ventura’s claims against Combs. The case continues to unfold with new testimonies, and its cultural fallout is already reshaping conversations around power, abuse, and accountability in the entertainment industry.
