Jennifer Lawrence is pregnant, expecting second baby with Cooke Maroney

Jennifer Lawrence is expecting her second child, according to an exclusive report confirmed by a source for The Hollywood Reporter on Sunday.

The Oscar-winning actor was photographed with a baby bump when dining in Los Angeles on Saturday night, according to Vogue, which first reported on Sunday after confirming with her spokesperson. THR corroborated the outlet's revelation, which was verified by a source close to the actor immediately after the story surfaced.

There was no additional information provided or reported on her health or the baby's due date.

Lawrence, 34, is already the mother of two-year-old Cy, whom she welcomed with her husband, Cooke Maroney, in 2022. This will be the couple's second child; they married in 2019 at the Belcourt Mansion in Newport, Rhode Island. The Silver Linings Playbook actor has kept her son's privacy, never publicly sharing a photo of him.

Lawrence discussed her pregnancy with Vogue in 2022, but also revealed that she had two miscarriages: one in her early 20s while alone in Montreal, and a second more recent miscarriage that involved a D&C, a surgical procedure in which tissue is removed from the uterus.

Lawrence's second documentary, Zurawski v Texas, will be released this month. The documentary, which she executive produced with Hillary Clinton, examines the consequences of Texas' stringent anti-abortion laws. The video will premiere this month in New York, Los Angeles, and San Antonio, where women have been significantly impacted by new abortion restrictions.

Lawrence had previously produced Bread & Roses, a film about Afghan women under Taliban rule, as well as her recent comeback films, the drama Causeway and the sex comedy No Hard Feelings.
