‎Coachella Weekend Two: PinkPantheress Brings Out Zara Larsson, Janelle Monáe and More

‎PinkPantheress turned her weekend two performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival into a standout showcase, featuring a host of notable guest appearances.
‎Much like her weekend one set at the Mojave tent, actor Tyriq Withers made multiple appearances throughout the show, continuing his now-familiar role during her performance. This time, however, the “Stateside” singer expanded the lineup, bringing even more prominent names onto the stage.

‎One of the anticipated moments came when pop star Zara Larsson joined the festivities. Fans had already begun speculating after spotting her at the festival earlier in the weekend. Contrary to expectations, Larsson did not appear for the opening track—the “Stateside” remix she features on.
‎Instead, the Swedish singer-songwriter, 28, stepped out solo to perform the title track from her latest album, Midnight Sun. She expressed gratitude to the audience and hinted that PinkPantheress may appear on the album’s newly announced deluxe edition, Girls Trip.
‎The set also included a brief onstage appearance from Janelle Monáe, who contributed by playing guitar. Later, Australian DJ Ninajirachi took over, creating space for several celebrity guests to join, including actress Chase Infiniti, Manon of KATSEYE, and Slayyyter.
‎PinkPantheress delivered a selection of her popular tracks, including “Stateside,” “Romeo,” “Boy’s a liar Pt. 2,” and closing with “Illegal.” During the final song, she and Withers—who had spent much of the performance playfully circling one another—finally came together onstage.
‎The moment took on a personal touch when Withers addressed the crowd, revealing it was the singer’s birthday. Presenting her with a rose as dancers displayed a “Happy Birthday” sign, he drew cheers from the audience. The pair embraced before leaving the stage together hand-in-hand.
‎Elsewhere during weekend two, other artists also featured surprise collaborations. Earlier in the day, Addison Rae brought Olivia Rodrigo onto the main stage, where they performed “Headphones On” and debuted Rodrigo’s new single, “Drop Dead,” live for the first time.
‎Friday night saw Sabrina Carpenter headline with a memorable appearance by Madonna. Together, they performed a version of Madonna’s “Like A Prayer,” a track that recently regained attention after a viral video of Heated Rivalry actor Connor Storrie dancing to it circulated online.
‎Looking ahead, Justin Bieber is scheduled to headline Saturday night, while Karol G will close the festival with Sunday’s final performance.
