‎Minaj took to X (formerly Twitter) to update fans on her upcoming plans, assuring them that the album rollout remains on track. She also hinted that another project could follow before the end of 2026. “I could put out an album tomorrow and still revolutionize the industry yet again on 3.27.26. And then turn around and still release another blockbuster 4th quarter of 26,” Minaj wrote in a since-deleted post shared by Complex.
‎The rapper expressed gratitude to her fans who attended her Gag City event, emphasizing that their energy influenced her decision to confirm the 2026 release date. “The truth is: I’m releasing NM6 on 3.27.26 b/c of the people who were in attendance at #GagCity I saw you. I want you to know that. I saw you. I heard you. I felt you. I love you,” she wrote.
‎Following the release of NM6, Minaj may embark on another global tour. Reports also suggest that the artist has documentaries and audiobooks in the works, expanding her creative ventures beyond music.
‎The “Billionaire Barbie” announcement marked another defining moment for the artist, who playfully introduced herself under the new title on October 18. Although she’s not officially a billionaire, CEO Today estimates her net worth at $190.5 million, making her the wealthiest female rapper to date.
‎Last week, Minaj made headlines after threatening to cancel her upcoming album while referencing Jay-Z and renewing her feud with Roc Nation. “They came BEGGING the QUEEN for a tour & album & I said NOPE!!!!! LMFAO,” she posted on X. “Wanted to patch it up. They needed help from the QUEEN & the BARBZ.”
‎Minaj’s latest project, Pink Friday 2, was released in December 2023 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, earning 228,000 total album-equivalent units. Her pinned post on X still lists March 27, 2026, as the official release date for her next major record.
