Netflix Unveils 'The Abandons' Premiere Date and First Photos Featuring Headey and Anderson

‎Netflix has officially announced the premiere date for its upcoming Western drama The Abandons. Set to debut on December 4, the series stars Lena Headey and Gillian Anderson as widowed matriarchs at the center of a land dispute in the Washington Territory of 1854. First-look images from the production, filmed in Calgary, offer a glimpse into the rugged frontier world created by the show's original creator, Kurt Sutter.

‎Executive Producer Chris Keyser describes the series as a “classic American story” marked by intersecting themes of love, vengeance, and survival.
