‎Arrowhead Game Studios developed the third-person title with support from PlayStation Studios. The game quickly attracted both critical praise and a large player base due to its engaging squad-based mechanics and satirical sci-fi setting. Players take on the role of elite Helldivers, deploying across hostile alien worlds to “spread Managed Democracy” using high-powered weapons, strategic cooperation, and intense firepower.

‎The transition to Xbox marks the first time a PlayStation-published title from this console generation will appear on Microsoft hardware. Helldivers 2 was previously noted for its tight integration with PlayStation’s multiplayer infrastructure, including progression systems, friend matchmaking, and ongoing live-service elements. Xbox players will gain access to the same core content, joining an established global community of Super Earth’s defenders.
