Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are engaged!

The singer, actress, and Rare Beauty entrepreneur shared the good news on Instagram, showing photographs of her engagement ring with the comment "forever begins now…".

Gomez, 32, disclosed she was dating record producer Blanco in December 2023, despite having been romantically together since June of last year. The two had previously collaborated on Gomez's 2023 track "Single Soon" and her 2019 song "I Can't Get Enough."

In a November cover story for The Hollywood Reporter, Gomez said of her relationship with Blanco: "This is the safest I've ever felt in one, and I see a future with this person."

Gomez has had an unbelievable year, with enormous success in cinema, television, and now her personal life. Gomez and her Emilia Perez co-stars Karla Sofía Gascón, Adriana Paz, and Zoe Saldaña shared the award for best actress at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year. She was also nominated for an Emmy for outstanding lead actress in a comedy series for her work on Hulu's Only Murders in the Building. This week, she garnered two Golden Globe nominations (for Emilia Perez and Only Murders in the Building).

Gomez was also honored with the Equity in Entertainment Award last week at The Hollywood Reporter's Women in Entertainment gala brunch. Gomez recently broke the internet at the Academy Women's Lunch.

Blanco, 36, is a celebrated music producer who has collaborated with Ed Sheeran, BTS, Eminem, Justin Bieber, Halsey, Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera, Kesha, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Sia, The Weeknd, Kanye West, Avicii, Charlie Puth, Wiz Khalifa, J Balvin, Ariana Grande, and SZA.
