‎Why Brooke Hogan requested removal from Hulk Hogan's will and will not inherit $25 million fortune

‎Brooke Hogan, daughter of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, will reportedly not inherit any portion of her late father’s $25 million estate after requesting to be removed from his will. This surprising decision, first revealed by TMZ on July 29, 2023, sheds light on the complex family dynamics and trust issues that influenced Brooke’s choice.

‎Sources close to the Hogan family and Brooke’s husband, Steven Oleksy, have confirmed that Brooke’s request stemmed from a desire to avoid entanglement in potential legal and financial disputes following her father’s passing. According to the source, Brooke “didn’t trust the people around him and didn’t want to be involved in a financial battle when he passed.” The decision was motivated by Brooke’s wish to protect Hulk Hogan from individuals she believed were taking advantage of him during his later years.
‎Brooke had reportedly engaged in years of disputes with her father over the influence of others on his finances. Ultimately, she asked his financial manager to remove her name from the will, hoping this step would shield her father from further stress and conflict. Steven Oleksy described the emotional toll on Brooke, recalling a moment when she was “sobbing and texting his financial manager because of the hurt that remained consistent in their relationship.”
‎The father-daughter relationship between Brooke and Hulk Hogan was fraught with tension over many years. Brooke publicly acknowledged their estrangement earlier this year, revealing she experienced verbal and mental abuse during her childhood from both Hulk Hogan and his ex-wife, Linda Hogan. Her Instagram post from March 2023 expressed the emotional pain she endured and the longing she had for honesty and time with her father.
‎Oleksy further commented on the nature of their relationship, saying Brooke “always wanted and needed from Hulk was time and honesty,” but regrettably, those things were “never in the cards.” Despite these challenges, reports confirm that Brooke will still receive some financial support through a life insurance trust set up by her father, where she remains the beneficiary.
‎Brooke and Steven Oleksy welcomed twins earlier this year, a joyful milestone amid the family turmoil. On July 29, Brooke shared a heartfelt tribute to her late father on Instagram, revealing the depth of her grief and the complexities that contributed to their strained bond. She spoke of private conversations where Hulk confided in her about his personal and business struggles, describing herself as a “life raft” for him during difficult times.
‎When her attempts to support Hulk Hogan failed, Brooke felt the need to “step away to protect my heart.” She expressed peace in knowing she had done everything she could, saying, “He knows how deeply, how hard and how purely I loved him.”
‎Hulk Hogan passed away at his home in Clearwater, Florida, on July 24, 2023. After divorcing his first wife Linda—mother of son Nick Hogan—he remarried Jennifer McDaniel in 2010, divorced in 2021, and married Sky Daily in September 2023.
