‎Paris Berelc joins Asher Angel in Tubi's YA rom-com 'Kissing Is the Easy Part'

‎Tubi’s upcoming young adult romantic comedy Kissing Is the Easy Part has officially expanded its cast, with Paris Berelc and Jennifer Robertson joining previously announced lead Asher Angel. ‎Best known for her roles in Alexa & Katie and Do Revenge, Paris Berelc will not only star as Flora—an effortlessly cool student resisting the academic future her parents envision—but will also serve as an executive producer on the project. Flora's unexpected connection with her tutor Sean, played by Shazam! Fury of the Gods star Asher Angel, leads her to question both her stance on love and her own ambitions.
‎Jennifer Robertson, familiar to audiences from Ginny & Georgia and Schitt’s Creek, joins the ensemble, which is part of Tubi’s growing lineup of original young adult titles. The cast also includes rising talents Tom Keat, Hayley Festeryga, Roshahn Dhoré, Mark Ballantyne, Rosalie Turmel, and Sorika Wolf.
‎Director Fawzia Mirza expressed her enthusiasm for the film, saying, “I’ve always wanted to make a classic high school rom-com, so it’s a dream to be directing Kissing Is the Easy Part with Asher, Paris, and our amazing cast and crew. Now more than ever, we need films that center joy, love, and possibility.”
‎Adam Lewinson, chief content officer at Tubi, added that the film aligns with the platform’s commitment to delivering emotionally resonant stories for young audiences. He praised the creative team for bringing depth and charm to the project, noting that Kissing Is the Easy Part fits seamlessly within Tubi’s growing YA-focused content strategy.
