No Exit for Endrick: Real Madrid Outline Major First-Team Plans

‎A clear direction has been set by Real Madrid regarding Endrick, with the club ruling out both a transfer and any further loan moves ahead of the upcoming campaign.
‎Following his productive spell with Olympique Lyonnais, the forward is preparing to rejoin the squad in Madrid, where he is expected to play a more prominent role than before.
‎Endrick will stay at Real Madrid with no loan or sale planned, as the Brazilian forward returns from Lyon ready to compete for a key role in attack.

‎Loan Spell Proves Decisive
‎Earlier in the season, opportunities were limited as Xabi Alonso preferred academy product Gonzalo García. That situation prompted both club and player to agree on a temporary move abroad.
‎The decision to send him to Lyon paid off. Under the guidance of Paulo Fonseca, Endrick delivered consistent performances, strengthening his case for a bigger role back in Spain.
‎With a return now confirmed, he is also expected to feature for Brazil national team at the FIFA World Cup before reintegrating into the Madrid squad.
‎Performance Earns Recognition
‎His output in France—seven goals and six assists across 17 matches—has reinforced the belief that he is ready for elite competition. His displays on the right wing have been particularly notable, showcasing his ability to adapt tactically.
‎This versatility could see him slot into a forward line with Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior, though he faces competition from Rodrygo Goes, Brahim Díaz, and Franco Mastantuono.
‎Strategic Role in Attack
‎Madrid’s plan extends beyond a single position. The youngster is also viewed as the leading alternative to Mbappé in the No. 9 role, giving him responsibilities both centrally and on the flanks.
‎This approach ensures regular involvement while enhancing squad balance. His attacking instincts and creativity are expected to provide support during a demanding domestic and European schedule.
‎Investment Shapes Decision
‎The club’s refusal to consider a sale is partly driven by the scale of their financial commitment. Since acquiring him from Palmeiras, Madrid have invested approximately $90 million, including transfer-related expenses.
‎With that in mind, the focus is now on maximizing his potential at the Santiago Bernabéu. His recent progress and upcoming international involvement suggest he is entering a crucial phase of his career.
