Steph Curry makes NBA history in Warriors vs Kings! What's next?

The Golden State Warriors are aware that their time with guard Steph Curry will be limited in the future seasons, so dealing for Jimmy Butler was a crucial step in demonstrating to him that the team is interested in making one more push. Even if Curry retires within the next three seasons, his current level of play remains extremely high.

Curry and the Warriors trounced the Sacramento Kings on Friday night, their first game after the All-Star break, following a tremendous Olympic performance with Team USA that earned them another All-Star Game MVP. Curry made NBA history once more, despite the fact that he did not need to play dominantly.

Curry's 20-point performance in the 132-108 victory over the Kings ties him with NBA superstar Michael Jordan for the most games with 20 or more points by a guard after turning 35. On March 14th, 2023, Curry became 35 years old for the 2022-23 season.

This is just one of Curry's numerous accomplishments over his last run of games. Since the NBA trade deadline, he has averaging more than 30 points per game, and the Warriors have gone 4-1 in their past five.

Looking ahead, the Warriors will face Klay Thompson and the Dallas Mavericks again on Sunday, this time on ABC. The game starts at 3:30 p.m. EST in San Francisco's Chase Center.
