Ghosts, which has become a fan favorite, will return for seasons five and six, taking the show through the 2026-27 season. This commitment demonstrates CBS's confidence in the series' enduring appeal.

All three NCIS series - the original NCIS, NCIS: Origins, and NCIS: Sydney - have been renewed for the 2025-26 season. This move ensures that the beloved franchise will continue to thrive on CBS.

In addition to Ghosts and the NCIS franchise, CBS has also renewed Elsbeth, Fire Country, Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage, Hollywood Squares, and Tracker for the 2025-26 season. These pickups highlight the network's commitment to a diverse range of programming.

"This season, our new and returning series continue to showcase CBS as the leader in launching and programming the biggest hits with mass appeal for broadcast and streaming viewers," said CBS Entertainment president Amy Reisenbach in a statement.

The nine renewed series join previously announced pickups Matlock and FBI, which is in the midst of a multiseason order that runs through 2026-27. Unscripted stalwarts Survivor and The Amazing Race are also set for next season.

CBS will make additional renewal decisions in the months leading up to May's upfronts. Several series, including The Neighborhood, Poppa's House, and SWAT, remain awaiting word on their futures.
